The Super Eagles camp in Uyo has welcomed three key players as they gear up for the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
Defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Jamilu Collins, along with striker Sadiq Umar, mark the initial group of arrivals in Uyo.
These players departed from their respective clubs after recent weekend action.
Omeruo, in Kasimpasa’s Turkish Super Lig clash against Kayserispor, played the full 90 minutes, making 65 passes and one crucial tackle in a 3-4 defeat.
Jamilu Collins, part of Cardiff City, featured throughout their match against Norwich City, where the left-back made 36 passes and secured three tackles.
With 14 appearances for the English Championship side this season, he brings considerable experience to the national team.
Sadiq Umar, playing for Real Sociedad, had a brief 45-minute spell in their 1-3 victory over his former team Almeria.
The trio now shift their focus to national team duties, preparing for the upcoming matches against Lesotho on Thursday and Zimbabwe the following Tuesday.
