Nigerian winger Moses Simon honored his former teammate, Raphael Dwamena, who tragically passed away.

The pair had shared the dressing room during their time at Levante.

Simon, while playing for Nantes against Metz, paid his respects to the late Black Star by inscribing “RIP Dwamena” on his inner wear after scoring.

Ghana international, Dwamena sadly passed away on the pitch during a league match in Albania.

The 28-year-old collapsed while playing for Egnatia against Partizani and passed away shortly after.

Before his untimely demise, Dwamena was the leading scorer in the Albanian league with nine goals this season.

He had represented his country with nine caps and scored two goals.
