Victor Boniface was excellent in Bayer Leverkusen’s win over Kevin Akpoguma’s Hoffenheim during Saturday’s German Bundesliga match.

Boniface guided Bayer Leverkusen to a hard fought 2-3 victory, providing two assists during the game.

Florian Wirtz, young German international put Leverkusen ahead inside opening four minutes, following a fine pass from Boniface.

Álex Grimaldo then added the second for the Xabi Alonso’s side in the first minute of added time.

The game turned on its head after the restart with the homers scoring twice to level the game.

Anton Stach reduced the deficit for Hoffenheim in the 56th minutes, while former Manchester United forward Wout Weghorst equalized two minutes later.

However with the game heading for a draw, Boniface came up with another moment of magic by setting up Wirtz for his brace and Bayer Leverkusen’s winner.

Following the brace at the Rhein-Neckar Arena, Boniface improves his stats to seven goals and five assists in ten league matches.
