Rivers United wing forward Ghanaian Paul Acqua has stated that the Nigeria Premier Football League side are not afraid of any opposition in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

Acqua told BRL that the team is not new to this stage of the competition and having been there gives them the right mindset.

The group stage draw of Africa’s second tier club competition was held on Friday in Johannesburg.

Last season Rivers United finished in the quarter-final losing to eventual runners-up Young Africans.
