Ola Aina is excited to be named Nottingham Forest’s player of the month.

Aina scooped the individual award after a good performance in the month of September.

The Full back got over 40 per cent of the total votes cast through the club’s website by the fans.

Reacting to the recognition, Aina expressed gratitude to the fans who voted for him via his Instagram story page.

“Thanking the fans for their support. I did a thing, thank you for the support,” the 26 year-old wrote.

Ola Aina signed for Nottingham Forest as a free agent this summer following his exit from Italian side Torino.

This season, the former Chelsea man has racked up five league appearances for Forest.
