Victor Osimhen is expected to be in action when Napoli host Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid at the Stadio Maradona later tonight with the striker having a lot to prove.

Osimhen was heavily linked with Real Madrid last summer, with Carlo Ancelotti publicly praising the Nigerian for his finishing prowess.

The 24 year-old was rested against Lecce on Saturday, but was introduced in the second half and he scored one of Napoli’s goals in a 4-0 win at the Via Del Mare.

A good performance against the Los Merengues could force the hierarchy to take their interest further, perhaps sanction a move for him next summer.

It will be interesting to see how Osimhen fairs against a Real Madrid side that would be without Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao, and David Alaba for the game.
