Super Falcons media officer, Oluchi Tobechukwu has confirmed that the players are well and okay despite members of the team picking up knocks during their 2-3 win over World Cup co-hosts Australia.

She revealed to Brila FM that many of them did not have difficulties moving around, after the game and celebrations that followed.

When quizzed about the welfare of Osinachi Ohale, who scored the second goal for the Super Falcons in the win, Tobechukwu confirmed that the defender had shrugged off the pain, and was in high spirits as they celebrated late into the night.

She also confirmed that as a result of the celebrations, about 90% of the team members could not have their breakfast as they slept late.

She said that some of the players started coming out of their rooms around noon.
