Former assistant coach of Nigeria women’s national team Wemimo Mathew has backed the Super Falcons of Nigeria to make a huge impression and shake the world ahead of the team’s participation at the fast approaching FIFA women’s world cup in Australia and New Zealand which gets underway on the 20th July 2023.
Mathew speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team seems clearly ready and already sent signals of their readiness to the rest of the world follow the team’s last run of games especially the last fixture against Lions FC in Australia which ended 8-1 in favour of the Nigerian ladies.
The Nigeria women’s national team is housed in Group B alongside co-host Australia, Republic of Ireland and Canada who they face on Friday to get their campaign underway.
