D’Tigers forward, Wisdom Anyaoha says the team is fired up for the big battle against DR Congo.
The quarter-final match-up between Nigeria and DR Congo at the ongoing FIBA AfroCan tournament in Luanda, holds later today.
It’ll be a be a big challenege for D’Tigers as they face the 2019 Champions, after overcoming Gabon at the Pavilhao Multiusos de Luanda on Wednesday.
Nigeria put up a dominant performance, beating Gabon 71-55 in their last game. Ibe Agu scored 13pts, while Kanyinsola Odufuwa contributed 12pts and Chinedu Chimbou with 9pts, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Speaking in the press conference ahead of the game, Anyaoha said, “Quarter final is not going to be an easy one but we are looking forward to a good outing.
“We will stick to the game plan and as the coach instructs.”
