Jose Peseiro has done a “perfect job” for the Super Eagles, but is earning above his pay grade, according to former Nigerian goalkeeper Idah Peterside.

Idah told BRL that Peseiro earns way too much as Super Eagles coach, calling to question the merits of the contract previously signed with the NFF.

Whilst admitting that the Portuguese has delivered on the job, particularly, the major objective set out for him – qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, there should be a salary review if a new contract is offered him.

While there are no official figures on the 63-year-old’s salary, it’s believed that Jose Peseiro earns in excess of $20,000 monthly.
