Sunday Oliseh’s Close Shave with “Scary” Dortmund Team Bus Attack

Former Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh has revealed he was ” 200 meters ” from the site of Tuesday’s blast that targeted the Borussia Dortmund team bus.

The blast which hit the Bundesliga club’s team bus as it made its way to the Signal Iduna park , where the team was due to play AS Monaco in a UEFA Champions League quarter final match, had parts of its glass shattered and midfielder, Marc Bartra needed operation after breaking the radial bone in his arm and getting bits of debris lodged in his hand as a result of the bomb attack on the BVB Team Bus.

 

 

Narrating the “scary” ordeal, the former Dortmund midfielder, who’s currently in charge of Dutch Eerste Divisie side, Fortuna Sittard, tweeted on Tuesday night that he was ” grateful to be safe!” after the bombs went off.

 

 

” Thank God! I Was just 200 meters from the Dortmund stadium when D bombs struck Dortmund team Bus! Really Scary day but grateful to be safe!”

 

 

 

 

The game between Dortmund and AS Monaco has eventually been moved to Wednesday 6:45pm as a result of the incident.
