Calvin Bassey was on parade as Ajax booked a 3-1 comeback win over RKC Waalwijk on Sunday.
The defender who has been heavily criticised since he joined Ajax for a club record £19.6m (€23m) from Glasgow Rangers, last July, started the game from the bench.
He however came on for Portuguese footballer Francisco Conceição in the 46th minute with Ajax trailing 1-0 at home.
With just 45 minutes of play, Bassey completed 42 passes, committed 1 foul and registered 1 assist.
Brian Brobbey equalized for Ajax few minutes after the restart, before Bassey, set up Juriel Timber for 2-1.
Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus scored the third to seal the win for the Dutch Champions.
