Enyimba head coach, Finidi George says the NPFL is getting better and officiating has been a major part.
Finidi’s has guided Enyimba to more away wins than any other side in the NPFL this season, Bendel Insurance are second.
“The league is getting better, so far. I see teams go away and win and that is what we expect of the league,” Finidi said when asked to scored the league.
“We can’t stress on everything, but I think one of the major reasons why teams found it difficult winning away matches was officiating, but I think it has been corrected majorly this season.”
Enyimba laboured a 2-1 success over Gombe United at Pantami Stadium on Saturday.
The victory further boost the side’s chances of playing in the super six.
“It was a difficult game, both teams played well and we took our chances, and we are happy we have the three points, we hope the officiating continues this way.
