Remo Stars goalkeeper, Kayode Bankole has expressed his team’s determination to quickly bounce back from their 3-1 loss to Akwa united.
Akwa United cantered Remo Stars 3-1 in Uyo, a defeat Bankole believes will be rectified when they host Plateau United in Ikenne, on Sunday.
“The last game has come and gone, the next thing is to focus on the next games. We are not under any pressure though,” said the goalkeeper.
“What we have to do is put in all our best to get maximum points and get back to our winning ways.
“We came back to watch the game against Akwa United, the coaches have been able to make the corrections and we are ready to get back to the pitch and correct them.”
Kayode Bankole, who missed the game against the Promise Keepers, will be hoping to earn a starter’s spot between the goalposts when Plateau United come to town.
