Nigeria’s striker Kelechi Ihenacho was on target as Leicester City beat Gillingham in English FA Cup match up on Saturday.
Iheanacho who struggling for game adequate game time  this season was expectedly handed the starting belt against the lowly rated oppositions.
The striker however proved he’s man for FA Cup occasion again when he netted the only goal of the game in the 56th minute.
The former Manchester City forward blasted a shot into top corner from eight yards.
It was Iheanacho’s first goal for Leicester since scoring in a 5-2 loss at Brighton on 4th September, 2022, and third in all competitions this season.
He now has 16 goals in 22 FA Cup matches for Leicester City and Manchester City.
Iheanacho’s international teammate Wilfred Ndidi made a cameo appearance, coming on in the 81st minute for Nampalys Mendy.
