Shooting Stars complete signing of Alimi brothers

Super Eagles striker Sikiru Alimi will play for Shooting Stars next season, alongside his younger brother Adebayo Alimi.

The Oluyole Warriors secured the signing of the duo few days ago after reaching separate agreements with their respective teams.

The Alimi brothers arrived Ibadan on free transfer, and reportedly signed a season-long contract with the option of extension.

Shooting Stars beat off competition from three clubs to complete the signing of Sikiru Alimi who is a striker, after his adventure in Libyan outfit Darnes SC.

Alimi, 26, has appeared for Remo Stars FC, MAS Fes, Stade Tunisien, Lobi Stars, Sunshine Stars, Warri Wolves and First Bank as his former clubs.

Last season, the former Flying Eagles attacker netted nine goals for Remo Stars in the NPFL.

On the other hand, Adebayo, a defender arrived from MFM FC of Lagos after their relegation from the NPFL last season.
