Nigerian defender Zaidu Sanusi has returned to training with FC Porto after several months hiatus due to injury.
The left back, who showcased an impressive performance with Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, is back on the field following his rehabilitation.
Sanusi sustained the injury during a league match between FC Porto and CF Estrella, leading to a successful surgery and an extended recovery period.
As FC Porto kicked off their preseason training on Monday, Sanusi was among the players undergoing conditional training.
Looking forward, Sanusi is optimistic about contributing to FC Porto’s upcoming campaign as they aim for success in the new season.
