FC Porto manager, Sergio Conceicao has confirmed Zaidu Sanusi will be out of action for weeks due to injury.

The Left-back missed Porto’s home game against Gil Vicente at the Dragao on Saturday.

“Zaidu(Sanusi) is out and will be out for the next few weeks,” Conceicao said per Sapo.

“It’s a muscle injury. Unfortunately, we have had some problems, like Marcano and Evanilson. We have solutions, and the injury
doesn’t change the strategy or the plan.”

“We have other players who can fill the position, but of course, I always want everyone available.”

Sanusi, on Wednesday, was substituted during FC Porto’s UEFA Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk after picking the injury.

He has struggled for fitness this season and has been restricted to just three appearances across all competitions.

The former Santa Clara’s full back also skipped Super Eagles’ African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sao Tome and Principe.
