Super Eagles left back Zaidu Sanusi made his long awaited return to action from injury in Saturday’s league cup final.
The player made his first appearance since in three months in FC Porto Portuguese League Cup final clash with Sporting CP at the Estádio José Alvalade.
Zaidu suffered the injury against Atlético Madrid on November 1 and missed 14 matches for club and country in the process.
The 25 year-old, however, finally declared fit and Porto manager Sérgio Conceição introduced him for Wendell with 11 minutes left to play in regulation time.
In a video posted on FC Porto’s social media handle the Nigerian celebrated his return with the trophy as Porto won the final 2-0.
