Assistant coach of Nigeria’s Men Handball national team Solomon Yola had expressed satisfaction with the preparation of the Nigerian Handball team.
He has also given an update on the team’s training stating that the work done so far has been on fitness and strength work done do far to put the team in competitive shape physically.
Yola who has taken charge of the team’s camping for the 18 days spent so far told www.brila.net that the boys on ground have shown good spirit while the team await the arrival of the 7 foreign-based players together with head coach Rafiu Salami who is also expected to join the team before the nations cup in January 2020.
“What we are doing this is the third week so it’s all about the build-up, strength work and putting the team in shape.
So far that’s whats we have been doing because we have followed through the program sent by head coach Rafiu Salami and I can tell you that the team is in high spirit based on what we have seen so far.”
