Joseph Yobo was broken after hearing about the passing of former teammate and a close friend Justice Christopher .
Yobo and late Christopher represented Nigeria at the FIFA World Cup in Japan and South Korea and both played in the Belgian Jupiler league, earlier in their careers.
They both retired from the game few years ago and they remain close friends, until the former Insurance of Benin player passed away on Tuesday.
“My family and I are deeply saddened by the awful news that my close friend Christopher has passed away. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family,” the Super Eagles assistant coach said.
Yobo would later described the late Christopher as perfect gentleman.
“A very gentle man that we shared some wonderful memories with throughout our international career. He will be missed by so many people and I honestly can’t get over the shock.”
Justice Christopher reportedly slumped in front of his hotel, andlater  passed away on Tuesday .
The reason for the shocken death is still unknown to the public, but an autopsy would carried out on his remains .
Christopher made a total of 11 appearances for the Nigeria national team between 2001- 2002.
He played for clubs like Katsina United, Sharks and Bendel Insurance, Royal Antwerp, Levski Sofia ,Trelleborg, Alania Vladikavkaz and Danish club Herfolge Boldklub.
He died aged 40 .
