Forward, Yira Sor is satisfied with KRC Genk’s result against Belgian Pro league champions Royale Antwerp.

Sor grabbed an important assist for the second goal as the Limburgers ended 2023 with a 3-0 at the Cegeka Arena on boxing day.

“Whether this was our best match of the season? I think so. We played a very good match and thoroughly deserve this victory.

“It’s nice that we could still give our fans a Christmas present in this way.”

Yira Sor set up his fellow up fellow country man, Tolu Arokodare who sealed with win with a second-half brace.

“I like those one-on-one situations,” Sor laughs at Het Belang Van Limburg.

“I knew I had to dribble, there was no other option. When I passed my man, I saw Tolu and I just had to pass the ball to him. He did the rest.”

Genk will return from the winter break on January 20, to face Cercle Brugge, when the League resumes.
