Former Roma forward, Francesco Graziani is the latest football great to heap praises of Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, following his fine run of form for Napoli this season.
Francesco Graziani, a World Cup winner with the Azzuri in 1982, said Osimhen remain the best forward in the whole of Italian Calcio this season.
The Nigeria international is the leading marksman in the league with nine goals from 11 matches for the Luciano Spalletti led SS Napoli.
“He is the top scorer in Serie A, he scores goals in every game, Graziani, who won the 1982 World Cup with Italy told TuttoNapoli.
“Maybe it won’t be beautiful to see but he’s effective. The highest performance in the entire league and it’s the one that affects the most, so for me, he’s my player in Serie A at the moment.”
Osimhen was on target in Napoli’s final winter pre season match against Villarreal last Saturday.
