Working under another coach will affect my football philosophy – Fatai Osho

Former Remo Stars Coach, Fatai Osho revealed he departed from the newly promoted Nigeria professional football league side because he doesn’t see himself as number two to any coach.

Days after guiding the team back to top flight division, Osho took his social media accounts to announce his resignation as the head coach of the Sky Blues side, As rumor linking the Club with 2017 NPFL winning coach Kennedy Boboye intensified.

Brila.net gathered that the Club was looking to bring in the former Plateau United coach as the technical adviser while Osho will work as an assistant.

“I will never work under another coach in Nigeria as this will affect my football philosophy, which I have worked hard on,” Osho said.

“I want to take responsibility for what I do.”

Osho who is not leaving the for the first time said he has bitterness towards the Club and insists they remain close to his heart.

“I respect the decision of the owner (Kunle Soname). He’s like a father to me and the team remains close to my heart,” he said.

Osho who has managed Crown FC and Supreme Court FC returned to the Club two seasons after the departure of Nduka Ugbade and his successor Daniel Ogunbodede who now act as the Club’s technical director.
