Nigeria’s National U-20 Women’s Football Team, Falconets are set for the battle of Dar es Salaam for Sunday’s second leg match between Nigeria and Tanzania.
Super falconets Chief Coach, Christopher Danjuma disclosed in Abuja this evening that his team is primed for an away victory no matter what the hosts will come up with.
According to the experienced women’s football tactician, the Falconets are aware of the task ahead and will not leave any stone unturned to complete the good job they started in Benin City, Edo State a fortnight ago.
“I will like to assure Nigerians that my players will hold their own against the Tanzanites of Tanzania on Sunday.
We missed a lot of goals in the first leg but still won by 3-0. We have worked on our mistakes and I believe we shall beat them in their home too”. Danjuma boasted.
Meanwhile, the Falconets will depart Nigeria on Thursday in order to have two full training sessions in Dar es Salaam before the crucial match on Sunday.
The Nigeria ladies had earlier gone rampant as they blew away Tanzania with three unanswered goals in a first round first leg tie of the 2018 Fifa U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers in Benin City.
The Nigerian falconets showed no mercy to their Tanzanian counterparts at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
Nigeria had qualified for all the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finals. France will host the next event in 2018.
