Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi returned to action on Tuesday after nearly four months out and he has expressed his delight with being back in action.

The 27-year-old featured as a substitute in Leicester City’s recent 1-0 victory over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday night.

This marked Ndidi’s first appearance for the Foxes since their away win at Cardiff City in late December.

Also, the injury forced him to miss 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

Ndidi, replaced Yunus Akgun 17 minutes from time.

Sharing his excitement on Instagram, Ndidi expressed how much he had missed the thrill of football, captioning a picture with the words, “I have missed this.”

The midfielder has scored twice in 21 league appearances for Enzo Maresca’s side this season, highlighting his significant contribution to the team’s success.
