Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has expressed his delight at signing a new contract with the club, extending his stay at King Power Stadium until 2027. The new deal puts an end to speculation about his future.
In an interview with LCFC.com, Ndidi shared his joy: “I feel great, I feel excited, I feel at home. That’s the most important thing. I feel really happy to continue with the Club.”
He added, “My family is settled here and everyone back home, when they say Ndidi, they say Leicester also! It’s really amazing to be a part of this journey going forward.”
Ndidi joined Leicester City in January 2017 following an impressive spell with Belgian side KRC Genk.
He is now set to rejoin his teammates as they prepare for their opening Premier League match of the season against Tottenham Hotspur at King Power Stadium on Monday, August 19.
