Manchester United will consider moving to sign Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi, as an alternative to Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.
British tabloid “Express” reported that the Super Eagles midfielder has impressed the Old Trafford outfits and are willing to make an offer for him, should they fail to sign Van de Beek.
Manchester United are facing competition from Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG for highly-rated Dutch midfielder who is ready to leave Ajax in the summer.
However, reports in the Netherlands revealed that Van de Beek could be on his way to Real Madrid, which means United could turn their attention to Wilfred Ndidi.
Ndidi who has been impressive in the heart of Leicester City’s midfield this season is valued at 56 million pounds and it could be difficult to prize him away from the Foxes.
The Nigerian still has a contract with Leicester City that runs until 2024 and manager Brenda Rodgers made it clear that non of his players is up for sale.
