Premier League legend Michael Owen hailed Alex Iwobi’s fine strike against Leicester City on Monday.
Iwobi scored a nice goal during the thrilling 2-2 draw against Leicester City at King Power Stadium.
After giving away the ball for Leicester City’s second goal, Iwobi dragged the Foxes back with when he guided a low shot into the bottom corner.
Former Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Newcastle United striker, Michael Owen however hailed Super Eagles’ for helping his side to secure a point.
“It was a nice finish, really nice finish. I’m not sure whether it would have been simple if the defender wasn’t there,”
“Was he concentrating on the finish or was he just trying to strike through the ball but it ended up being a good finish.”Owen said on Premier League Productions.
Iwobi has now now scored twice for Everton in the Premier League, and has five assists.
