Former coach of Wikki Tourist FC, Usman Abd’allah has disclosed reasons for quitting his role at the Bauchi-based NPFL side Wikki Tourist FC.
Abdallah resigned from his position recently and has been replaced by a caretaker manager by the management of the club until the end of the season.
In a chat with brila.net’s Mohammed Saliu, Abdallah said he decided to step down from his position to protect his reputation as a top manager.
“I traveled to renew my Visa in France and I got back to hear that as many as sixteen of my players have been sacked.” he said.
“I didn’t want to blow up the issue because of the relationships I have with the emir of Bauchi and also the Governor of the state.
The sixteen players were later replaced with players who are not good enough and also lack basic education.
“We now have players who I have to ask what position they play every time in training, It is that bad” He said.
