Former D’Tigers captain Olumide Oyedeji has blasted the NBBF board for not starting the league and rejoicing over mediocrity.
Speaking to brila.net exclusively, Oyedeji stated that the Federation have been citing excuses to justify their decisions to overlook home based players for the world cup and even ruling them out ahead of the 2020 Olympics.
“It’s such a shame” He said.
‘You gave excuses of the league and you called the players for AFROChan, that means you were biased in your selection , that’s a shame,! Olumide fumed.
Oyedeji stressed that every single person in basketball including himself needs to be blamed on the issue of Basketball league neglect.
The men’s basketball league has been off for a year now, denying them from doing something meaningful for themselves is bad and shameful, the former player lamented.
