Belgian Pro League club K.V.C. Westerlo has secured the signing of Nigerian midfielder Ogonna Hyacinth from Dino Sporting Club, a deal finalized after both clubs reached an agreement.

Hyacinth, a promising young talent, has inked a three-year contract with Westerlo, which includes an option for a fourth year.

The Belgian club successfully fended off interest from Italian powerhouses Juventus, Udinese, and Lazio, after scouting Hyacinth at the Viareggio Cup in Italy.

The attacking midfielder now joins the ranks of fellow Nigerians Tolu Arokodare and Yira Sor in the Belgian top flight, as he embarks on the next stage of his burgeoning career.
