Rivers United defender Ebube Duru has stated that the Nigeria Professional Football League champions are very disappointed after going down 6-0 to CAF Champions League holders Wydad Casablanca of Morocco to get dumped out of the CAF Champions League despite the huge financial promises made to the team.
Duru speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net posited that it was unfortunate not to have been able to record the progress envisioned by the team.
He however stressed that the team still have to focus on the CAF Confederation cup where they will await their next opponent.
