Corsica League Director, David Ceradini has conceded defeat to Nigeria ahead of May 26 exhibition match against the Corsican national team.

Ceradini told brila.net that the team had not played a competitive match in a while, and so expects the Super Eagles to get one over them on Friday.

Corsica, albeit not a FIFA member association have played friendlies against the likes of Burkina Faso (May 2015) and Bulgaria (May 2016); defeating the former 1-0.

The Corsica football chief also expressed optimism with the number of fans that will turn out for the match.

He said “It’ll be nice if we have 5000 people at the stadium.”
