Board member of the Nigeria Weightlifting Federation Steve Olarinoye has stated that the members of the board will meet very soon to ratify the confirmation of the Vice President of the Federation as the new President following the demise of the former President Mohammed Yaya last month.
Olarinoye speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the Vice President is one with a listening ear and that the board members will rally round him as well to ensure there is no vacuum or failure in the administration of the Federation and also to ensure the Federation continue to thrive well.
“By the time this lockdown is out fully, the board will meet and just ratify so it’s very automatic having the Vice President become the President. So we members have been rallying round the Vice President all our Programs.
The Vice president happens to be somebody that listens to members, so he is very prepared to learn. “
