Rwanda’s national team captain, Djihad Bizimana has confirmed his team is ready to face Nigeria in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Tuesday.
Rwanda, led by coach Torsten Spittler, will be looking for their first win of the qualifiers after a 1-1 draw against Libya last week.
The Super Eagles head into the match with ann an advantage after a 3-0 win over Benin Republic, where Ademola Lookman scored a brace, and Victor Osimhen added a third.
Bizimana believes his team can handle Nigeria’s attacking threats.
“We are going to give 150%. It would be difficult for us if we do less than that,” Bizimana said during the pre-match press conference.
“We know that we are going to play against a tough team, but all I am asking Rwandans is to come and support us. They won’t go back home disappointed.”
