Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has hinted at the possibility of altering the team’s formation in the match against Guinea Bissau.
Peseiro, known for his strategic acumen, recently deployed a defensive 3-4-3 formation in the match against Cote d’Ivoire last Thursday, securing a 1-0 victory.
When questioned about maintaining the same formation for Nigeria’s final group match at the Africa Cup of Nations, the coach responded:
“The games are different, we will approach tomorrow’s (Monday) game with a different approach.”
Peseiro’s response suggests a potential shift in tactics as the Super Eagles gear up for the encounter.
Super Eagles could now play a more attacking system in this highly anticipated matchup, needing at least a point against the already eliminated Guinea Bissau to gain automatic progress to next round.
