Sikiru Alimi has reacted to the thought of many Nigerians who believe the loss against the Togolese Junior Hawks was as a result of match rustiness attributed to the NPFL league season still on hold.
Alimi told www.brila.net that a lot of the players never had the opportunity to play an international match before that day and the Togolese fans contributed to the team’s victory, He said.
”Some of us have experienced only in continental games which is far different from these qualifiers, I think these are the factors that added to their victory against, Alimi said.
