Kennedy Boboye is on the verge of leading a Plateau United to a historic league title victory – if they manage to hold off the chasing pack – but the Coach is also worried about the other matters off the pitch.
Plateau United are top of the NPFL log with 58 points; three points better that second placed MFM FC, and it could be one of the closest league title race this decade.
But, Boboye believes more could be done to help improve the quality of the league if clubs can eliminate the burden of travelling long distance by road.
Teams should be able to fly to ahead of league matches in order to stay fresh and fit enough to play, the Coach argued.
He insists that the burden of travelling by road in Nigeria affects the performance of away teams during match days.
Boboye urged club owners to work out deals with airline operators to enable clubs travel by air for league matches.
