We Must be at Our Best Against Australia — Ajibade

Rasheedat Ajibade says the Super Falcons can get a win against Australia, with the teams set to clash this Thursday in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Ajibade could get a start in Randy Waldrum’s team – after serving a one-match suspension – and her return to the World Cup will be going up against co-hosts, the Matildas in the second Group B game.

” I’m fine and ready to give 100 percent for the team,” the 23 year-old said.

“It’s going to be a difficult game, because playing against the hosts is never easy, the crowd and many factors could play out, but I trust my team.

“We have done it before, we have the talents, we just have to bring our A-game on Thursday,” She told NFF TV.

Recall the Super Falcons opened their campaign with a goalless draw against reigning Olympic Champions, Canada at the Rectangular Stadium.

They currently sit third on the table, two points behind this Thursday’s opponents, who themselves will be without captain Sam Kerr.
