Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface praised his team’s hard work after their tense 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in a thrilling Bundesliga clash, on Saturday.
Boniface, who missed a first-half penalty, redeemed himself by scoring the decisive goal in the 72nd minute.

However, Bayer Leverkusen’s Robert Andrich leveled the score before halftime.
The game remained tight until Boniface’s crucial goal sealed the result for Leverkusen.
Reflecting on the match, Boniface said: “After the first half, we knew we were doing the right things. We just had to be patient and keep going. We knew the game was important to us, and luckily, we got the win.”
