Black Stars head coach Otto Addo admitted nobody is giving his team a chance to beat the Super Eagles, but he’s confident in their plans.
Otto, speaking at the pre match conference stated that, the bookmakers and fans tagged the Black Stars as the underdogs because of their poor showing at the last African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The Black Stars will host the Super Eagles at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi for the first leg of the Qatar 2022 World Cup play off this Friday.
”I know people are skeptical of the team because of the last tournament but we have a plan and we will work hard to put that plan into use and try to qualify,” Addo told a press conference on Thursday.
The tactician also added that, his boys are ready for the class after three days of training.
“There’s never enough time to train national teams but I believe the players have trained well and are in good shape.”He said.
Ghana has played at the World Cup on three occasions, and would be hoping to make a return after missing out of the 2018 edition in Russia.
