Former Sand Eagles captain, Isiaka Olawale believes Nigeria has the right talent for the upcoming beach soccer qualifiers, following the Fourth Edition of Beach Soccer Super Four tournament held in Kaduna.
While struggling with the little time available for preparations, Olawale is confirmed that the best players have been showcased and are ready to represent the country.
During an interview with Brila.net, he said, “We have just a little time. At the same time, we will still get the team to represent us very well. I believe that at least the material is there already”.
He continued. “As you can see, they keep on improving every year. The team, the individual players, everybody keeps on improving.”
Olawale is sure that a strong team can be selected from the four teams that competed. “I think we can get a good team among the four teams. Which I know they will represent us very well. I believe that.”
He concluded, “We just have to try to support the team and then try to be behind the team and then let them know people are behind them. So that, you know, that will give them the confidence to represent us very well.”
