Sevilla’s sporting director, Victor Orta has appreciated Kelechi Iheanacho, who recently joined the Rojiblancos on a free transfer from Leicester City.

The 27-year-old chose to move to the LaLiga side despite receiving several offers.

Orta stated that Iheanacho’s strong desire to join Sevilla was a key factor in accelerating the transfer process.

Kelechi Iheanacho was officially unveiled on Tuesday after signing a two-year contract with the option for an additional year with the Rojiblancos.

“I feel very good and happy to be coming to Sevilla, to be a new Sevilla player. I am very happy to be at Sevilla,” he said during his unveiling.

“I’m going to play like I played in England, it’s a new challenge. I’m ready to play in the Spanish league, I’m going to give everything for Sevilla FC.”
