Emmanuel Dennis says Watford deserves more in the game against Chelsea, but they have to put it behind and focus on the next one.
Dennis scored as the Hornets lost to the Premier League leaders at the Vicarage Road on Wednesday.
Mason Mount put Thomas Tuchel’s side in front in the 28th minute, but Dennis restored the parity fee minutes before half time break.
Mousa Sissoko missed a glorious chance to make it 2-1 for Watford on the stroke of halftime, despite facing Edouard Mendy one one one.
Watford were made to pay for the missing chances as Hakim Ziyech restored Chelsea’s lead in the second half.
Reacting to the result, Dennis stated that, Watford deserved more, but they have to pick themselves up and focus on the next game.
“We deserved more but we keep going”, The 23-year-old posted on his Twitter account.
Dennis is one of the hottest strikers in the Premier League at the moment and he has been involved in eight goals in his last five league games.
