Ahead of 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Nigeria, Leone stars of Sierra Leone head coach, John Keister has warned his players against giving too much respect.

Sierra Leone will host Nigeria for match-day five of the AFCON qualifiers at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Stadium, in Liberia, on June 18.

In the reverse fixture, Nigeria won 2-1 in Abuja, and they remain favorites for Sunday’s game, on paper.

Speaking ahead of the game though, Keister however played down the underdog tag, charging his players to give their all against the three-time African Champions.
