Shehu Abdullahi has assured Nigerians that the Super Eagles will leave nothing to chance when they face Ghana’s Black Stars in decisive World Cup qualifiers this Friday.
Abdullahi stated that the players understand how important the match is to the entire people of Nigeria and they are ready to give their all.
“The game is a serious one and we are here trying to fight for what we want.“
“We the players knows that Ghana-Nigeria is not always about football alone, so we are going there to fight for the team.“
“We the players are ready to fight for our country.” Shehu Abdullahi said.
The first leg will be played at the Baba Yara Sport Stadium in Kumasi this Friday, while Nigeria will host the reverse fixture on Tuesday.
The overall winner of the ties will advance to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup billed to hold later this year.
