Super Eagles CB, Kenneth Omeruo says the team will give everything when they face Cameroon in 2023 Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 clash.

The former winners will rekindle their rivalry at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, this Saturday.

Nigeria and Cameroon have met seven times in the AFCON, with each team winning three games each while the other one ended in a draw.

“Cameroon is a team we are familiar with. We have faced them seven times and they have good players. We are focused, we are training hard,” Omeruo recalls.

Cameroon duo Vincent Aboubakar and Clinton Njie are back in full training for the Indomitable Lions ahead of Saturday’s encounter, but Omeruo said they are confident of getting the result.

“We are confident. After the last game, we said to ourselves, whoever we get next, we have to stick to our game plan and give our best and with that, we can beat any team.”
