Congratulations if your country is one of 32 that will entertain the world at the 2018 FIFA World Cup! That is the message from select players, representing the qualified teams as we countdown to the mundial.
The video message by some of the biggest stars in football, who will – hopefully – be in Russia to compete for honors was shared by the FIFA via social media on Thursday.
The World Cup greetings opened with Russia’s Fyodor Smolov welcoming Brazil and several scenes later it was Spain’s maestro Andreas Iniesta expressing a warm welcome to Nigeria.
Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi picked the medley and passed it on in the true nature of sportsmanship that the competition next year is expected to portray.
Congratulations, see you (nos vemos) in Russia!!!
