Nigeria professional football league outfit Warri Wolves Football Club have appointed Ortega Deniran as their new technical adviser.
Deniran’s appointment was confirmed by the management led by Chief Executive Officer, Etu Moses on Wednesday.
Deniran will replace Ogenyi Evans who was dismissed by the club following a poor run of results that left the team in a dangerous position on the table.
Etu in a statement said that Deniran is an experienced tactician, who is capable of turning the fortune of the club around.
“I’m happy to inform you that we’ve got a coach (Ortega Deniran), As a matter of fact, he has resumed work today (Wednesday, May 19). He had his first training session with the team today at our new home, the Delta State Polytechnic Stadium in Ozoro.”
“He holds a UEFA A license. He has worked in Nigeria and in Europe. At a time, he was with Enyimba International and the Flying Eagles (2019 class).” Etu said.
The new technical adviser will take charge of his first assignment when the club will trade tackles with Adamawa United on Sunday.
